new site

Visit My Website

Links!

Something I have to talk about is the community links!

Have had a request to add a few links to other site and they will back link here! at the moment the email adress that you sent them to is being a slight pain! Please don't think I am ignoring you!

If anyone else wants to 'link exchange' please feel free to get in touch! I am currently working hard on getting things sorted and refreshed!

New look site! Coming soon!

At the moment the 360ukgamers is a bit fragmented with the blog here and the forum on gamerdna! What I am intending on doing is bringing both of these together into one site!

Not 100% sure how it will happen yet but am looking at it from as many angles as I can find, but the two that look the most promising is using joomla to build the site and assigning the domain name, or using one off the free web builder thingys (technical terminology is so great) and have my domain name point to that site! either way hopefully within a few weeks I will have played with enough of them to decide which to use and start getting ready to luanch the new look site!

I will put a few of these testing sites links up here so people can see what the team have been working on and we will go with the best option we can find!

The Team structue!

Right straight to the point for the first of today the structure of the team!

So far it looks as though it will be split 4 ways which I will outline below!

360ukgamers Management/Admin
These players will deal with the running of the Clan and the teams as well as the 'infrastructure' behind the team!

360ukgamers
These will form the core of the teams fielded, and the backbone for the clan!

3ukG Casuals
This will be formed of the new blood to the clan and those who want to belong but just want to play casually or just occasionally want to pop in for a match every now and then!

Friends of 3ukG
Those players from other teams who want to join in and play organise matches or just keep uptodate!

So that is how the clan will be formed and run a lot less complicated than I have seen on other clans but hopefully it will work for us!

More to come soon on the updates of how the clan is going!

Reinvention

Right after 3 month away 'to find myself' as the karma rubbish goes, I am back! not quite with a vengance as now have much more real life responsibilities, urgh how I hate that word!

But 360ukgamers still exists! We are still around and we are still gaming! Admitadly not as much as we would like but then who does!

So stay tuned here or join the 360ukgamers forum to see what happening and hopefully become bigger and better!

Secondly, we are also pleased to announce that the soundtrack to Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen is headlined by composer Steve Jablonsky, and he is joined by composer Bobby Tahouri and electronic music act Julien-K.

Jablonsky is best known for contributing music to the original score for 2007’s live-action Transformers movie and, more recently, the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie. Jablonsky is also highly regarded for his work in the original score to the video game Gears of War 2.

Tahouri is best known for his contributions to the score for the 2008 blockbuster movie Iron Man. Julien-K’s “Technical Difficulties” was included on the soundtrack to the 2007 Transformers movie and was featured in the film’s closing credits. Their debut album, “Death to Analogue” was released on 10 March, 2009 through Metropolis Records. The band was featured on the main stage of the 2007 Projekt Revolution tour and has toured as an opening act for rock band Evanescence.

The Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen video game, based on the upcoming live-action feature film from DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures in association with Hasbro, lets players take on the role of their favourite AUTOBOTS or DECEPTICONS, picking from the largest, most diverse range of playable Transformers – each with their own distinct abilities and weaponry. Set in unique environments across the globe such as Cairo and Shanghai, the game allows players to instantly switch between vehicle and robot modes as they drive, fly, fight and blast their way through intense, pressure-packed levels. After engaging in single player action, for the first time ever players will be able to go online and battle friends in all-new multiplayer modes.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen video game will be available on all major platforms and handhelds. The game hits store shelves in the UK on 26th June, 2009.
